Tiger Balm Red Ointment for temporary relief of aches and pains.

Tiger Balm (Red)

Tiger Balm owes its origins to a soothing herbal balm prepared for Chinese emperors who had suffered from a variety of aches and pains. Tiger Balm's unique formulation of peppermint oil, camphor, menthol, eucalyptus and clove oil makes it effective for:

  • Relieving pain

  • Soothing irritated skin

  • Promoting blood flow to reduce inflammation


Directions

Tiger Balm (Red)

  • Rub gently on the affected parts of the skin as necessary, usually 2 or 3 times a day.
Ingredients

Tiger Balm Red Ointment contains (%w/w):

Natural Camphor 11.0%, Menthol 10.0%, Clove Oil 5.0% and Cajuput Oil 7.0%.

These ingredients are in a base which consists of Cinnamon Oil, Dementholised Mint Oil, Yellow Soft Paraffin and Hard Paraffin.

Warnings

Tiger Balm (Red)

  • Do not use Tiger Balm if you are sensitive to any of its ingredients
  • Do not apply Tiger Balm to wounds or to damaged or irritated skin
  • Keep away from the eyes and mucous membranes
  • Do not bandage tightly
  • Tiger Balm is for external use only
  • Do not use Tiger Balm as an inhalant
  • Tiger Balm is not suitable for use in children under two years of age
  • Avoid excessive use in pregnancy and lactation
  • Tiger Balm Red Ointment may stain clothing

 
Side Effects

Tiger Balm (Red)

  • may occasionally cause irritation to the skin including application site rashes. If this occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice
